Check and set SAP parameters accross your entire SAP landscape with EPOS.
Checking and maintaining profile parameters is one of the regular tasks of SAP Basis. The parameters should be identical across a large number of systems. With EPOS, this can be done quickly and fully automatically. Including fallback if necessary!
Step 1:.
Define the parameters to be checked and/or modified.
Step 2: Start the job.
Start the job. EPOS will determine the values for the required parameters on all selected systems.
Step 3:.
The summary clearly shows you the value of the selected parameters for each selected system.
Step 4:.
Specify the new value you want the parameters to have and schedule the job for a time that suits you: Nights or weekends.
Step 5: .
EPOS changes the parameter values on the selected systems and reboots the systems to activate the parameters.
Step 6: .
You can check the success of the action in the summary log.
If an SAP system fails to start, the fallback is used: the old parameter value is reset and the system is restarted. This is also recorded in the summary log.
If you wish, you can skip steps 2 and 3 and do the check and parameter setting in one go.
