EPOS Release 26.1: Greater efficiency and more automation for your SAP Operations
With EPOS Release 26.1, day-to-day SAP operations become easier and more efficient for SAP Basis teams. Settings that previously had to be maintained manually in configuration files can now be managed directly through the EPOS interface. The new release also introduces new apps and enhancements for certificate management, user administration, updates, and more.
In this release webinar, we’ll take a closer look at what’s new in EPOS 26.1, highlight the features that are most relevant to your SAP operations, and show you how to put these new capabilities to work in your day-to-day environment.
What’s new in EPOS 26.1
EPOS 26.1 improves usability and expands the capabilities available for managing SAP landscapes. During the webinar, we’ll walk you through the key new features and demonstrate with practical examples how they can simplify everyday administration.
Highlights include:
- Enhanced Certificate Management: The Certificate Management App now supports certificates for SAP Host Agent and SAP HANA. For SAP RISE systems, you can also view certificate information and manage certificates directly in EPOS.
- New administration apps: The new User Management App makes it possible to manage users across multiple systems and clients. The MS SQL Update App supports updates to MS SQL Server software in SAP NetWeaver-based systems.
- Edit BlueCopy TableSets directly in jobs: The new TableSet Editor in BlueCopy allows you to create, modify, or replace default and custom TableSets directly within a job, subject to the appropriate permissions.
- A more intuitive user experience: User settings are now easier to access, while the main menu has been reorganized for improved navigation. The areas displayed are automatically tailored to the user's permissions.
- Submit support requests directly from EPOS: When questions or issues arise, you can contact Empirius Support directly from a job. Relevant information is automatically included with the request, while screenshots and additional files can be attached as needed.
- Dynamic Host Lists for Data Collector: New systems can now be automatically added to Data Collector templates, reducing the manual effort required to keep host lists up to date as your SAP landscape changes.
- Integrate services into processes: Service-based systems, such as FTP or content servers, can now be added to EPOS as managed resources and integrated into process definitions and workflows.
- Manage configuration directly in EPOS: Server and application settings can now be maintained directly through the EPOS interface, eliminating the need for manual changes to configuration or JSON files.
- And much more.
Yvonne Göbel and Manuel Schott will guide you through the new features and answer your questions live during the session.
