BlueUserCopy 2.3 has been released - The BEST tool to merge SAP users

Today, we released Version 2.3 of BlueUserCopy. This version is now NW 7.31-based and finally allows for setting productive passwords, again, instead of initial passwords which have to be changed immediately at first login. This tool covers the use-case, when you need to have SAP users from or in different systems while preserving existing users. Release differences between systems are irrelevant, in contrast to SAP client copies using the copy profile SAP_USER, among others.

In release 2.3, some other small usability bugs have been fixed, especially when selecting users among a big number of users, which was very difficult to achieve.

If you use older systems (< NW 7.3), please contact our support, so that we can provide a corresponding version.

9.3.7 will be our last fix release before 9.4 and 10.0. In this release, there are many, many fixes for things you have reported to us, mostly in connection with new behaviour/features of the underlying RDBMS. All these things will of course be included in the following major releases. In the following, you will find an outline over all 9.3.x fix releases, this time a little bit lengthly.  >>>
