Happy Easter! BlueCopy Suite 8.4 Update 2 released

With update 2 of BlueCopy Suite, we fixed minor issues that are mostly related to the new functionality. Since about 2 weeks, there is also a new version of the GUI, which SIGNIFICANTLY improves visualisation of the log file.

One of the more important features lately: Execution of SAP UserExits, Client Ex-/Imports and BDLS as any user, not only as user DDIC.

This feature got some more enhancements and minor fixes with this update 2, among others:

  • The password safe now uses the hostname of the first tab strip, instead of the physical hostname.
  • With Client Ex-/Imports and BDLS, the user DDIC was still used in the background as so-called "authcheckuser" because this is the SAP default. This has been fixed.
  • Entries in the password safe for SAP UserExits with "same user+password in all clients" had to be specified as "SID.*" and can now also be specified simply and intuitively with "SID".

Please see the release notes for all details.
